  How do I configure my site so that people only have to search d.roomstudio.co.za, instead of coza.wordpress?

  I’m not sure I understand your question. WordPress.com sites are only hosted through WordPress.com. .za domains are not offered on WordPress.com.

  You can purchase the domain you want, d.roomstudio.co.za, elsewhere, and then you can map it with WordPress.com Premium.
