When I select "Publish" no update emails are being sent to my subscribers

    Hello WordPress world, first support request on this forum, topic says it all really…
    Have updated my blog, hit “Publish” at the end as usual but no update emails appear to be being issued…? I normally get one myself as does my partner so we are pretty sure nothing is happening (a load of comments, abuse, laughter etc normally follows too and hasn’t…)

    Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them.

    Then please type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.     wilfredandflorence.wordpress.com is another

    Two emails of people I know are following my blog are

    (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there,

    I checked your account, and you aren’t currently subscribed to your blog. When you visit https://distantdrumsailing.wordpress.com/ do you see the “Follow” link in the admin bar at the top of the page there? You can click on that to resubscribe to the blog, and manage your subscription settings from your Edit Blogs I Follow page if you need.

    I also checked the two emails you mentioned, and they aren’t following your blog itself. They subscribed to follow new comments on your About page, but they aren’t subscribed to the blog as a whole and so they won’t receive updates about new posts.

    I checked sailluckymascot.wordpress.com and there isn’t a blog at that address, and the owner of wilfredandflorence.wordpress.com isn’t following your blog. Do you know the usernames or email addresses of those bloggers who aren’t receiving email updates?
