When I try to login the direct way a message pops up saying the computer ‘cannot load because the server sent no data’. What can I do, other than get to my blog via a search engine?

Not quite. I have been using this:

for a long, long time.
However, when I got up this morning and checked my computer, I was able to log in directly from the icon on my opening screen, as I usually do.
I believe the problem was connected with my “server”, wherever that is located. But, since it had occurred only in relation to my WordPress blog site, I needed to determine if the issue had originated at your end.
I don’t know why or how the problem developed, or why it resolved itself.
FYI, here is what the message said (in addition to its sad face): “Cannot load because no data received from server.”
I hope this info helps you in case the same problem occurs on other bloggers’ sites.
BTW, should I use only the login URL you noted in your email?
