When I update my posts I lose previously made changes and adsense ads.

  Please help! I update my posts, spending an hour doing it, then realize I forgot a comma or something so go back and edit that comma back in and click update and then I lose everything else I spent the last hour doing. The post completely resets and I also lose my adsense ads everytime I update a post.
