When I write a new post, it keeps publishing it as a page. How do I fix this?

  I’m trying to write a new post, but when I try publish it, it ends up as a page instead of a normal post. This has never happened before, so I’m not sure how to fix it. If you could please help me out, it would be much appreciated, thanks!

  Hi there. What is the URL of the post that published as a page?

  Go to the WP-Admin dashboard: http://walkingintherightsizedshoes.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Is the post you’re talking of appearing under Posts ->All Posts or Pages ->All Pages?

  Hello,
  I already deleted it so I don’t have the URL, but it was appearing under “All Pages”, even though I kept writing it as a new post, so I’m not sure why that is happening.

  Which editor were you using? The new editor with the blue toolbar or the one in the WP-Admin dashboard?

  And on which browser?

  Or were you perhaps using the mobile app? If so, iOS or Android?

  I’ll try to see if I can replicate the error, but having a post this happened to will really help, so if it happens again, don’t delete it but give us the link here instead.
