When is my canceled domain available?

  Hey there,

  I recently upgraded my blog to premium in order to have an individual domain name. I then realized that I should have done this through wordpress.org and a host site, as I am wanting more control over my website. I canceled the upgrade (along with the domain) about 20 minutes later. I am now trying to register the domain through a host site but it is saying that the domain is not available. I canceled the domain through the cancelation of the upgrade.

  My question is: when will the domain become available again? Or is there a way to make the domain become available again so that I can register it with a different host site?
