When is the adress of a deleted Site available?

  A friend of mine had register a WordPress Blog and doesn´t care about it, for a long time. After i ask him he deleted this site for me, so that i can use this adress. But till now it is not possbile to register this site, for me? So how long will it take?

  Hi there,

  Take a look at this post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Once a blog has been deleted, its related address is no longer available to use under any circumstance. Just to quote:

  Addresses (URLs) for blogs that have been deleted by the owner will remain deleted. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow someone to take over the address of a blog that was owned and deleted by its original/previous owner.

  If there’s any way you can think of a new, original address for your blog, or a small variation on the name you were going to use, that’s probably the best option. Hope that helps :)
