When logged into blog, .FLV files play audio, not video, using video shortcode
-
I’m using WordPress 3.8 and the Siffusion template on an externally-hosted web provider.
I’ve embedded a few .FLV files into posts using the [video] shortcode; files encoded using the FLV video codec and MP3 audio codec.
The .FLV videos play correctly (sound and audio) when I’m not logged into my blog, yet when I do log in and choose “Visit Site” from the upper-left navigation menu, the video never displays but the audio will play. (Gray background for video is shown.)
I experience this in the IE 11 browser, but I don’t experience the behavior in Firefox 25.0.1.
Any ideas why this might be occurring?

Amending details to my question.
No longer seems straightforward, as it seems to be an intermittent issue within IE 11.
After several more attempts without changing any of the [video] shortcode options (or blog post details), on one visit I was able to see the videos when logged into the blog, and on a different visit I was not able to see the video when not logged into the blog.
