When Multiple users, FB connection not working

    I am using a word press.com site. Knowing I have not too many configuration options.
    I got very happy when I noticed I could connect WordPress with Facebook. Every blog-entry I write, automatically is publised on FB.

    I have connected the ADMIN-user to a FB page via MY FB account.
    This works JUST FINE.

    I have 2 more users at the WordPress.com -site.
    They are “Writer” and “Editor”.

    Why does the connection to FB not work when they are publishing a blog-entry?

    Do I need to set up those accounts connected to FB too (I do not think these users have the right to set up such a connection)
    Or do I need to let them use the ADMIN- account enabling the connection to FB to work?

    Hello there,
    Here is what I found:

    Only Facebook Pages that have an associated Profile can be used with Publicize. Follow the “Reconnecting Facebook” steps above and connect to a Facebook Profile that has administrative rights to the Page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting

    Thanks.
    So What I could find in all that info was:

    * If I want multiple WP users posting blog-entries to ONE blog, AND I want their posts to show at the FB page, they ALL need to be ADMIN (even though WP recommends only one user to bee admin). This will solve this specific problem!

    Thanks a lot for the great link, which was interesting since it gave info about MSN, and Linked In too.

    As far as I can see, it will only Publicize to one profile. If you want to publish to multiple ones, you ‘ll need something like Networked Blogs.

    Yes, I guess you are right.

    Well either we will need to use the same “user” or I could try connection all users to one FB profile ;) but in this case it would be OK to use the same “user” even though separate always is better ;)

    The alternatives are Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.

    RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.

    You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

    Does it work also for FB pages (not walls)?

    Thanks for the info.
    I tested giving ADMIN to the WP users and guess what?
    It worked.
    I could connect them all to the FB page.

    Well, all the users are connected to the same FB user, but that will not be an issue as it is a FB page, not a wall that is the receiver. :)

    @hippietant
    I clicked this link and read what’s there. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). Beyond that I have no information.

    @1aavenyenteknik (hippietant)
    I just read your two posts above and I’m happy to hear you resolved this. Best wishes. :)
