Why did the content of my post disappear after saving it?
-
For the past month or so, I’ve completely written 3 separate posts tried to save them and upon completion of the “save” the post is completely blank and everything I’ve typed is completely gone. I tried to restore the post but they were blank too. The media is still inside of the images folder but all the text and placement of pictures is gone. How can this be fixed? ]

Ouch, that sounds horrible. Hopefully we’ll be able to figure it out.
A couple of questions:
1.) When you save your post are you using the Visual Editor or the HTML Editor? You will be able to tell by the look of the text that you wrote – if it looks like code, then you’re using the HTML editor. If it looks pretty and displays your images then it’s the Visual Editor.2.) What web browser are you using?
3.) Are you highlighting the text of the post when you hit the “Save Draft” button? It shouldn’t matter but I’m just curious.
4.) Can you please send me a link to a specific post where that occurred?
Thanks!

1) Using the Visual Editor. I have no idea how to do HTML
2) Internet Explorer
3) No? Do you think it would help?

It looks like the post only consisted of spaces initially, so it pretty much can’t be recovered.
Did you copy it from somewhere else, like Microsoft Word or another website?
Also, what version of Internet Explorer are you using?
