When sharing my blog post on facebook, the image in my blog has not come up.

    I have linked my wordpress blog page to facebook, and its shared the link t the post, but there is an empty box where the image should be. I have followed the instructions to try and turn on ‘featured image’ in the edit section of ‘screen options’ like the help page says, but I have no option to tick for ‘featured image’, its simply not there. Help!
