When sharing to Facebook, why is the post description different?

    When I first publicize my post to Facebook, it includes the first few lines of my post in the description. Perfect. Yet, if I use the Facebook sharing button, it will only include text from my sidebar Gravitron description. How can I get the sharing button to describe the post from which the sharing button was used?

    Unfortunately, it’s entirely up to Facebook with regards to what it picks when you use their Share service. We have no control over it.

    When you publicize a post, we send them just the content of the post. When you share a post, Facebook looks through blog for whatever text it wants to pick, hence the difference.
