When sharing, why is the link wp.me/ … and not our domain name??
-
When we publish a post, it currently shares the article link as http://wp.me/pzcRF-JD
We’d MUCH prefer our posts share to our connected social networks as
http://phlightschool.com/2012/10/15/chris-vance-performs-at-mic-stews-peace-world-listening-session/…for obvious branding reasons, plus it just sort of looks lame – etc…
Is there ANY way we can set this as a preference or make the change?? Or are we stuck :(
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, many thanks.

wp.me is our short URL service. We use it when sharing to social networks, as some social networks limit the length of their post content.
For example, Twitter limits the length of their posts to 140 characters.
So, considering that, http://phlightschool.com/2012/10/15/chris-vance-performs-at-mic-stews-peace-world-listening-session/ is 100 characters, whereas http://wp.me/pzcRF-JD is 21 characters.
