When should I map my existing domain ?

Hi,
I already have site hosted by hostpapa and I want my actual site neptuneclubdefrance.wordpresss.com be available with neptuneclubdefrance.fr.
I want that the transfer will be done th 6th of december at 18h (I have a very important meeting and I would like to show it).
When and what do I have to do to be on time ?I already ask to change the DNS entry for the 6th of december as explained here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ . It is said that now I have to by a domain.

It can take up to 72 hours for the DNS to settle down when you map a domain. And you DO realize that it’s you, not anybody else, who has to make the changes according to the instructions in the Support documents. You get that, right?
You can’t use a domain until you own it. If you own it, all you have to do is map it.

Since neptuneclubdefrance.fr is owned by someone – I assume you – then follow the instructions you linked to – I added a zone record for your domain so you don’t need to worry about that –
But as @RC states above – changes are not instantaneous – you want to map the domain early to changes have time to migrate across the internet.
Mapping the domain name then showing up in the forum with a big panic “THIS NEEDS TO WORK IN ONE HOUR MY JOB DEPENDS ON THIS” will just get a we told you so response – sorry – but the change takes time and there is nothing anyone can do to speed things up – so sooner is better

Yes I owned this domain name and I am trying to make hostpapa change the nameserver. I hope it will work as soon as hostpapa change them.
