When switching MX records and domain host, domain manager doesn't accept records
-
Am trying to get google email address for my domain – have tried adding google records in DNS management area of Domain management but unsuccessful. Have tried many different ways to enter them eg. NS1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. or ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. or MX1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. but it always comes up as saying that invalid characters … are you able to help pls?

You can setup email through Google Apps for Domains following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

Hi macmanx, Thanks. I was actually following that guide as I was going through the process as outlined by google. But it just says to add the new records as if that’s going to be no issue. But as I mentioned, I’ve tried adding them several different ways and they are always found to be “invalid”. Do you know why this might be pls? Cheers,

At step 7 in the guide above, the records will be generated for you when you enter your verification code.
Have you done this?
