When switching themes, will I have these problems…

    Considering a paid theme, headlines, but not sure if I’m ready to commit hours into updating the whole thing.

    My site is http://www.dotsconnected.net and is currently running on the Twenty Ten theme

    If I switch to a new theme, will images such as my header bar and background still be saved as they are?

    If I download, change my theme and don’t like it, will my former theme revert back to exactly as it is now with all the formatting when I go back?

    If I change the formatting of things in the new theme and then revert back, will this affect my old theme?

    HELP!

    The images you upload into your Media Libaray will remain there unless you delete them. Once they are deleted then they cannot be displayed.

    Note that not all themes have the feature that allows for using a cutom image header or background. Your background and header image are sized to “fit” each theme. In the case of the blog linked to your user name they are sized for Twenty Ten. If you change themes then here are the sizes required for header images > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/ If you switch back to Twenty Ten then those images will reappear.
