When to do what (I'm a beginner and overwhelmed)

  Hey word.press community. I was told I would need three things to make a website. A server, a domain and word press.

  I was told to go with blue host for server space, Go Daddy, for the domain and use word press to create my themes and site.

  I want to to transfer my domain (from Go daddy) over to word press, but I want to use the word press theme (with the go daddy domain) on the blue host server space. My question is this… Will wordpress allow me to transfer the profile and the domain to another server as it seems to be pushing it’s own server space and this whole thing is very confusing for me.

  Have a quick read of this support page which should go a little way to un-confusing you, then head over to WordPress.org which is where you want to be.
