When uploading mp3 files 'Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons'

  Hello, I am trying to upload a mp3 file & it keeps coming up with this message ‘Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons’. I have checked that it is not over the size limit & is one of the acceptable media types. I am also using Beat Store to upload please help & thank you.

  Hi there,

  For what site is this? http://www.misfitproductionsinc.com is not a WordPress.com site, so if you’re uploading to that site you’re not uploading it to our media library, but to your site’s own database. If the file is being blocked there it might be a plugin that interfering, or a security setting of your hosting provider.
