When uploading photos through WordPress ( Media Library) and I choose my ‘Photos’ Application on my computer, photos are missing and dates of photos are mixed together
-
When I want to load photos from my computer, I go to the media library to ‘add new’ and from my computer, I select ‘Photos’ ( since I have a Mac, the ‘Photos’ used to be iPhotos) and I have noticed that when I am trying to upload photos into WordPress that my library of photos from ‘Photos’ isn’t matching up to the collection I see when I go to the ‘Photos’ on my computer outside of uploading into WordPress media. They just don’t line up, photos that I want to load, and know they are there are not showing up when I want to for WordPress media library, and not only that but photos seem to be scattered date wise. It’s odd. But when I look at the ‘Photos’ application on my computer to browse outside of trying to load to WordPress all the photos are there. I know this sounds confusing. I am wondering what I can do so that when I upload to the media library on WordPress and select from my ‘Photos’ Application on my computer, the library of photos will show the exact photo library it shows when I’m just browsing the ‘Photo’ application.

Hi there – could you pass us the link to where you are trying to upload media to your media library?
It is two distinctly different platforms, so it’s possible there is a setting somewhere, in either area, that is causing the conflicting views.
What I recommend focusing on is an alternative upload method. It should be possible to drag and drop images from your computer file view into the media library. Have you tried this method yet?
