when will a search engine find me?

just started my blog. when will a search engine be able to find me? can somebody right now write the name of my blog and *pop* there i am?

it took me a dozen or so posts before my blog started to show at the top of the search page. Now my blog name (Sifting Reality), any combination of my url, my name, and all kinds of other search terms loosely related to my blog name yeilds my blog for searches. I suggest posting often to speed up the process.
