When will the domain renewal popover be removed?

  How do I get the annoying popover that all my visitors see because I haven’t renewed my domain to go away?

  I requested to cancel this weeks ago; I’ve entered two more cancellation requests today. This bad UI is obnoxious; I’m well aware of the status of this and I don’t want to blog any more and direct users to the site to see this message. It’s one thing to give a popover to me so that I can’t even read my own blog without renewing or cancelling, it’s another thing entirely to have all my guests see it, as if I don;t know how domain registration works!

  Please advise when it will be removed.

  Hey Ellie,

  With your permission, I can cancel the domain registration and mapping from your site. We generally keep it attached just in case people want to save their domains from being lost. However, if you don’t want tippingdominoes.com anymore, I’m happy to delete it so your site can be viewed at tippingdominoes.wordpress.com.

  Yes, please do that. I’ve tried to cancel it several times via the GUI as I never used the tippingdominoes.com anyway, but it seems not to work.
