When will we be able to remove "like"s we have accidently made on posts?
-
I clicked a link (sorry don’t remember what launched it Facebook, twitter, some blog).
Unusually for me I happened to be logged into WP.com, and suddenly find I have liked a post, and that there is another post that I seemed to have liked (but have no memory of reading!).
You really should not implement this sort of thing if it is not possible to reverse the step!
Through the power of Google (note, NOT WP.com search), I find there are others, but no ETA on this being fixed.
So is it likely to be;, this year, this decade, it’s currently low priority == probably never?
Is there some way to up-vote this in a bug database? -
I’m sorry but Staff have not provided any information on the “when” as yet. > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-likes-section-on-my-dashboard?replies=7#post-665887

You should now be able to unlike a post by clicking on the “Liked” button inside the content area of the post.

Thanks for following up on this.
For at least one of the “accidental” likes this solution worked (there was an obvious like button I could click)
Unfortunately, for another (http://steveblank.com/2010/10/04/why-pioneers-are-the-ones-with-the-arrows-in-their-backs/) there does not seem to be a wordpress like button to click to remove the like :( Which makes me wonder how the like occurred in the first place! -
Thanks for the hint @airodyssey.
In the Admin toolbar I see a button marked “* You like this (4)”, and an arrow which indicates a menu, which will open.
I can click the button but it does not appear to do anything (well apart from open the menu). So, still broken for me, as I can’t remover the like from the post :(
