Hi there!
When you revamp the site or add new functions, can you please consider a way to remove spam visitors
Can you let me know where you’re seeing the spam visitors?
If you’re seeing them in the Referrers section of your stats, then there is a way to mark them as spam at present:
If you meant something else, then just let me know. I’ll be happy to look into this further.

Hi
On the Stats page under referrers it indicates there are x number of spam referrers. I have been assuming (perhaps I am wrong) that these numbers are still counted as visitors. For example each day I note at least one spam referrer and if there is only one visitor it is usually from Brazil. I don't, to my knowledge have a Brazilian follower and therefore I have been assuming this is a spammer. I guess what I am trying to do is to weed out the spammers from the stats; that is, I don't want to see them represented here.
Cheers, Helen

Hi Helen.
Got you! I like the idea, however, my initial thought is that it would be very hard, if not impossible, for our system to detect what visitors are ‘spam’ and which aren’t. I’m going to pass this onto our data team to see what they think.
Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I realise it would be a matter of programming a connection between the part of WordPress which extracts spam comments and separates them out from legitimate comments, and the clicks of visitors. A bit of a mind twister that but I suspect a bored and highly motivated programmer might find this a great challenge. Best wishes.
