Where are all my posts? Vanished!
-
A couple of months ago I marked my blog as “private.” I had approximately 8 or 9 self-written articles, some lengthy. When I marked the blog private, I most certainly did NOT delete these posts. I logged in today and found all these posts to have been deleted. I have no messages or e-mail about why this happened. My blog is not “suspended.” The posts are not in the Trash. I can’t find them in Google’s cache. There was nothing illegal or objectionable in my blog articles. The “media” and image files all seem to still be there, but the posts are gone. I don’t understand. I hope WordPress will put everything back the way I had it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry this has happened, it sounds frustrating. There’s nothing personally I can do as a volunteer. Staff may be able to restore from a backup or otherwise retrieve your content. So I have flagged this for staff attention, one of them will be able to assist you with this.

Thanks so much! It turns out that a few weeks before I marked the blog as private, I “exported” the whole thing as XML! I don’t remember doing this, but luckily I did it! I think I’m missing one post that I wrote subsequent to exporting it, but it’s not that big a deal. I’m pretty stoked that I backed the site up! Must have been after a glass of wine! ;)
Anyway, thank you very much again.

No worries there are a few secret identities on here I’m sure :)
Do you still have an issue for staff ? I’ve removed the flag for their attention – please let us know.
Cheers
