Where are earlier archives?

  Why do only some of my archives appear? I rarely look at my own blog but when I did I noticed that not all of my months archives appear. I have seen on some blogs archives that go back a few years, but mine only shows four months. Is there a setting or something I am missing?

  it looks like your account & blog are only 4 months old – archives will not go back earlier than the first Post when the blog was created

  Your profile shows you’ve had an account with WordPress.com for 4 months. Did you have a different account previously? Set up with a different email address.

  Hi kevindeisher,

  According to our records, you created your blog on April 22, 2013, and your first post is dated April 25, 2013. Since those April posts are all private, they won’t appear to your site’s visitors in the Archives list in your sidebar. That means visitors to your site will see the public posts starting in May 2013.
