Where are missing widgets?

  My dashboard tells me that I have 20 widgets whereas my widgets page counts only 14 widgets in only one available sidebar. There are no widgets in ‘inactive widgets’ section. Where are remaining 6 widgets?

  Some kinds widgets are multiples. For example, we can create several text widgets.Some widgets are badges like AddThis for example. Please look at the complete list linked to below as you maybe able to account for the missing 6 by doing so http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-sidebars/

  Even a text widget, regardless of how many times you use it, counts as a single widget each time. You can usually differentiate because there’s some sort of titlebar or gap between the widgets and I presently count 15 widgets on the blog.linked to your username.

  I’ve checked out my own blogs and the numbers of widgets mentioned in the Dashboards are correct (10 and 21). So, the count does not include inactive widgets.
