where are my blog posts?
-
Hi,
I can’t find my blog posts on my website.
I have set up an account: thebulletprooflinguist.wordpress.com and written 2 blog posts, but I can’t see them on the live website.
I just want a link on the menu called ‘blog’ so that people can link to my posts, but there doesn’t seem to be anyway for me to make the blog posts appear on a new page, or make the page take on blog posts.
Can someone please help me!
Thanks,
Alex

Hey Alex,
Hope you are doing great.
Please make sure all the blog posts you have added are “Public” and NOT “Private”.

Let me know if that helps!

Hello there,
I can currently see two blog posts on the site thebulletprooflinguist.wordpress.com
It looks like you have your home page set to show your latest posts. If you would like to turn the home page into a static front page (so it stays the same and doesn’t show your blog posts) you can follow these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Then you will want to set your “posts page” (under the same area of the customizer, “static front page”), to be “blog”.
Doing this should achieve the desired look you are hoping to achieve. If you need any further help with this, please let me know :)
Happy blogging

Hi Alex –
To do this, you’ll set up a static front page on the blog and then assign your posts to publish on a different page. You can name that whatever you like.
Here are the instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Then, when you link the Blog page in your site menu all of your published posts will be connected there.
