Where are my comments going?

  Hello. For the past week or so, my orange comment box will light up with the number of comments left by others, but when I click on the comment box, nothing happens. On the left sidebar in which comments usually come up for approval (example: “1”) there are no comments available. People are asking me where their comments are going….I haven’t changed any of the settings. Please let me know how to fix this. Thank you!

  The box you’re referring to us just your notification menu. It includes more than just comments, and there may be some unread notification still, which you can read at http://wordpress.com/#!/notifications/

  As for the comments themselves, they exist at the post they’re left on, for example http://thebeggarsbakery.net/2012/09/27/picking-up-rocks-on-a-walk-with-god/
