Where are my customised pages?

Hello, there! I just bought my own domain site a few days ago and I’m new to wordpress, but I definitely watched a bunch of tutorials in the internet on how to set up and customise the page. Yet, after I finished customising my pages, I used my phone to search for my website name in the google but I couldn’t see it and when I directly type in my domain name on the phone, I didn’t see the page that I customised; I just saw a sample page with ‘Hello World’ on it. Can you recommend what I should I do next and how to fix it.

I would like to show some of the images I just screenshot, but I don’t know how to upload them. Thanks for your help. Looking forward to start blogging on wordpress soon.

Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise. Thank you!

Thanks, csonnek. My site URL is kimhengblogs.com and I’ve already contacted Namecheap support for that issue and I think someone of the team is working on it right now, so thank you so much for helps.

  • Ok, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with NameCheap.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.
