Where are my e-mail followers?

I have had several people sign up to follow by e-mail, but they don’t show up in my list of followers. I am looking under my stats > Insights > followers > email followers. Is there a reason for this? Do I have to do something to confirm they are following?

Please be clear on the fact that names are not required for subscribing for receipt of blog post updates, and that subscribers control the frequency of receipt of the same. All that is required of subscribers is exactly what was required for you to register an account and that is a valid email address.
Many of us choose not provide our personal email addresses to anyone but family and close friends. We use throw away email addresses so we don’t suffer being spammed with unwanted information.

Thanks for the info Timethief. Very useful, especially the easier viewing of followers. Unfortunately it conforms the same thing. It shows only one e-mail follower though I n=know I have had at least three other people sign up to follow by e-mail. Any ideas why those individuals would not be showing up?

I’m sorry but I do no have an answer. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. Hey there,
I checked your followers and currently see 5 WordPress.com followers and 2 e-mail followers. Is it possible that your followers chose to follow you through their WordPress.com account?
If you still do not see them, please provide their e-mail addresses so I can look into the issue for you. Their e-mails will be redacted from public view, but I will still be able to see them.
