Where are the "spelling check" and "preview" buttons now?

  My “Add New Post” page has been updated, and I can’t find where the grammar and spelling check button has gone. Also, the “preview post” button.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  We did update quite a few links to point to our new editor at http://wordpress.com/post. Currently, the spellcheck is not available from the new editor. However, the old editor is still available. You just need to access it by clicking “Edit” underneath a post here:

  Thanks so much for replying promptly. Yes, I found the “preview” button, eventually. But wow, what a mess this new design is. Why would ANYONE think that leaving off a spelling and grammar check was a good idea?

  One of my (many!) problems with it is that it takes FOREVER to load. Like upwards of 5 minutes. There is just so much wrong with it, I can’t imagine why it’s even still popping up.

  Looking at the forum you linked to, not one person seems to be happy with this. Especially when we have to take so many extra steps to get back to our, functioning, editor page. Really, the only saving grace here is that you did NOT disable the older version. (Which has had tons of upgrades, itself, none of which are really helpful either, most are just unpleasant surprises when I log in).

  Again, thanks. Glad that I can still put up a new post each night, without ever having to see that Boop garbage again. (Don’t mean to be harsh, but really, look at the feedback coming in…….)

  It’s certainly on our list of feedback items for the new editor.

  Wow! It definitely shouldn’t take that long to load. Can you provide a few additional details?

  1. I’m assuming you’re experiencing much faster performance on other sites (to rule out internet connection issues). Is that correct?
  2. Are you experiencing the same slowness when you navigate around your Dashboard (http://lunarmom.wordpress.com/wp-admin) or just when loading the new editor?
  3. Are you having the same experience in all browsers or just your primary one?

  I want you to know that we do appreciate your honest feedback. We’re doing our very best to improve the experience as much as possible. There aren’t any plans to revert back to the old editor so we’re instead going to make the new editor just as great!
