Where can I find more indepth answers to my questions about plans before I buy?
-
I have many questions because I didn’t learn until after I signed up that certain things, like custom font, did not actually come with the free. No problem, but now I want to do that so looking at buying premium. But I would like more answers than a one liner for before buying a plan.
Questions:
It says ‘Buy Premium,’ then it says “no premium”? And the themes are as if I didn’t pay? Because it says “More design”? Then on the other side is says “Awesome Blogs with WordPress.com Premium.”Does “full font and css editing capabilities” really meant that as long as I can write css, then I can change anything on my site? Because it says “Choose custom fonts and colors with Custom Design, or go under the hood with the CSS editor.” I want to know what the hold backs are. I don’t care what they are but I would like to know my limits.
Like…On the widget page, that’s all css, will I be able to build my own then add to site? Limit? How much control will I have over the site in means of changing?
What exactly does “direct email” cover? Then says “talk with Happiness Engineers,” so no email but we can discuss the possibility for and addition $120.? Can I receive emails? Will it be like a host site with email? Will I get ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’? How many emails? Can we forward?
Is there anywhere I can find a full list of things I can do and can’t do? If I can be directed some, I would very much appreciate it.
I know that I won’t have the world unlimited which is why I am teaching myself to build a website, but I would like to know how far can I go with this. I would like to embed or combine, something like that, this blog with my website later. So, I would like very much to know and understand everything pertaining to Premium. If I can’t do any of the above, that’s fine too. Mostly, I will buy anyways. Just no surprises.
Last one, Is there a way I can get the ‘custom font and color’ plus a domain for a cheap price? Curious.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The premium plan is basically lots of the premium upgrades all bundled together at a reduced cost, so you might find out more by reading the support pages for them all:
Now on to your questions:
CSS is theme dependent, so there’s no guarantee that everything in every theme can be individually targeted by a CSS declaration, but the only limits that WordPress impose are regarding @font-face and @import rules.
Having the CSS upgrade won’t allow you to create your own widgets but it will give you more flexibility to style the existing widgets how you like.
The direct email bit relates to being able to contact support staff directly, live chat is only available if you take the business plan. If you want to be able to set up emails on your custom domain then you can either use email forwarding or email hosting via any of the listed providers.
Custom design and custom domains are still available as separate purchases if you don’t need the other parts of the premium plan – don’t forget you can trial the plan for 2 weeks for free!

Domain registration and mapping are the only individual upgrades available to new users. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-mapping-upgrade-8?replies=31#post-2068837 -

You’re welcome. Though it’s not been said, I do believe that individual purchases of premium themes, site redirects, and guided transfers still exist.

Thank you both so much. It’s an enormous help. I really wanted to do it but nervous if it wouldn’t let me do what I want. I was sure there was something out there. Just couldn’t find it. I’ll be sure to save the pages and pass them on if anybody ever wants the same information. Thank you again.
