where can i find plugin tabs in my admin

Please proceed to the FAQ and read carefully – no plug-ins, no java script- no customization of themes on this shared wordpress.com multi-user platform is allowed for security.
Also read forum topic entitled “lame – no editable css for blogs…” -
We are running a different form of WordPress called WordPress MU that currently does not allow for plugins. You can read the about the differences here and here.
TT is right though. Please take a few minutes and read the FAQ posted at the top of the forum here as well as the FAQ blog.
But don’t waste your time with the thread she recommends. It’s just a cry baby who wants everything for free and can’t understand. *sigh*

Actually I wasn’t referring to the part of the thread that could be called the “lament”. I was referring to the polite, extremely descriptive and lengthy explanation provided by generaldissaray which I ought to have printed out, framed for reference purposes and hung by my computer. In fact perhaps it should become a *sticky* that we who work on our blogs after you and podz have gone can direct those who expect the sun and the moon for nothing to.

I saw this topic on FAQ.
But not saying plugin is not allowed.
If it is not, should I run my own site ? Or there are other sites that allow me to run plugins.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Comparison of the two different verions of WordPress software. What we use here is different from what is downloadable and hosted elsewhere.
Here’s the FAQ on plugins by the way. If you want to use plugins that aren’t currently available here, you need to grab the software off of WordPress.org and find yourself a host.

You say to read the FAQ about the the Plugin tab. Well I have. Is there a FAQ about the FAQ? http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins this link provided by you is supposed to tell us how to install a plugin. Please respond in plain english. This is a blog for general use not pro use. Bear that in mind when replying to requests.

(1) wordpress.org blogs have plugins.
(2) wordpress.com blogs do not have plugins.
(3) The two run on different software.
(4) The support forum for wordpress.org is here http://wordpress.org/support
(5) If you have a wordpress.org blog then discussing plugins on this wordpress.com forum is probably a non-productive pursuit (see: 2 above) :) -
Is there a FAQ about the FAQ?
No, but you missed the other sticky: Please read me first before posting You’re looking at the wrong site. Do note the ORG in the address that you give. We’re at wp.COM. It’s different software.
Hope this helps,
