Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?
The reason why I ask is because it doesn’t look like there’s been much activity on jazzverbatim.com recently…so I’d like to just double check what’s happening there.
Many thanks in advance.

at https://jazzverbatim.com/about/ one photo is out of order when viewed on my iMac. It’s in the correct order, however, when viewed on my iPhone and tablet. It’s fine in edit mode, but I see no way to Publish so it looks in order on my iMac. Any ideas?

Hi there,
Are you adding “empty” paragraph blocks to try and enforce a certain amount of spacing on the page? The reason I ask is because empty blocks like that do not help with spacing for images, but can actually have the opposite effect of causing problems with the layout. Specifically it can make it look like the spacing is correct in the editor, only to appear incorrect on the published page.
Instead you will want to remove the empty paragraph blocks and adjust the images using the settings in the image block itself.
You can see the changes you need to make in the video I recorded at this link
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks so much for your clear and helpful video. I’m not aware of adding “empty” paragraph blocks, however, when I click on Type / to choose a block I get nothing.
-
In my video you will see that I expose the “list view” to see the full list of blocks on your page. That option is a toggle button on the top left that looks like 3 horizontal lines. There are a handful of paragraph blocks, and it is easiest to delete them from the list, instead of clicking on the page to try and find them that way.
Once I remove the paragraph blocks, the first image needs a settings change, to set the alignment to “none” and this makes sure that image 2 does not pop up to the same line as image 1, but stays below on it’s own down below.
Let us know if you need further assistance or if you have any questions.

I got in, made the changes, and it looks fine on Edit Page. I click Preview and Preview tab but can’t Publish.
-
Could you take a screen shot of what you’re seeing at this stage? That can be included in your reply here with an image block. Sometimes getting a visual look is the best way for us to help.

Don’t know if this helps but when posted a new photo, “Interview with Sam Rivers,” I lost the alignment with the other photos and was unable to Publish.
-
We haven’t received the screenshots. Something you can try is uploading them into your Media Library. We can see them from there. :)
At this point I’m have questions about two things:
- How are you bringing these photos and text onto your About page? For example, are you copying the images and/or text from somewhere like a Word document and pasting them into your About page?
- What is your current setup? Are you on a PC desktop using Windows 10 and the Microsoft Edge browser?
Details around these two questions would be most helpful. Especially since that Publish button is not present for you, which should definitely not be the case. We look forward to your reply so we can help you get this sorted out.

Great to hear from you! Screen Shots were sent but I’ll try again.
- The mis-alignment of photos occurred when I posted a single pic titled “Interview with Sam Rivers” that I received as an attachment to an email. I was able to correct it in Edit Page but then cannot Publish. It looks fine on iPhone, though. I wonder how that could happen without a Publish button?

Hey there,
So to check, you should be seeing this here:

The update is greyed out, but this becomes present, when an edit is made – are you seeing the same thing?
Many thanks!

Thanks for your example. Too tiny for me to read but the update is greyed out when an edit is made.
