  I am looking for the wp contents folder to send onto my web hosting provider?

  WordPress.com blogs do not have a wp contentes folder, only WordPress.org. If you are trying to move your WordPress.com blog to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog you will need to follow these steps (http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org) to do so. If you have a self hosted WP.org site and are looking for the contents folder, checkout the WordPress.org forums for help
