WHERE CAN I GET HELP FROM WORDPRESS?

I put a help post up weeks ago, no response.
I don’t know what to do to get help? I have an error with my blog, where it says ‘unable to update jetpack’ ? My blog will not save drafts of posts.
Please can someone help me, or tell me where can I go to get help?

i am receiving hundreds of “toni roberts made change to post” email notifications for nearly every word i write in a blog! today received 150 email notifications of “change to post!” for one blog! this has been happening last three blog posts. how is this corrected? it’s a technical glitch that wordpress has to address!!!!!

For which site is this? Your site at datingasociopath.com is a WordPress.com site and does not use Jetpack. If you have a site that uses Jetpack, that is a self-hosted WordPress.ORG site. That causes an email to be sent to a specified address each time a post on the site is changed. As you are the only user on that blog, you are the only person who could have activated it. You can disable it again at this link:

Kokkieh this is exactly the point. I know its wordpress.com it isn’t meant to use jetpack. This is what it says. That I need to upgrade to jetpack 3.3 when I click on it it says I don’t have permissions.
It won’t publish as a post is written. It wont save a draft. Its coming out a mess. I am too scared to change the theme. I am desperate for help. I am thinking of leaving wordpress and closing my blog which gets thousands of visitors daily. yes the blog datingasociopath,com it says I need to upgrade to jetpack 3.3 but when I click on it it says I don’t have permission. It is really bad unusable. I don’t know whether to just delete my site. As its pointless I cant write a coherent post there, I have to type in the web address to go direct to admin as otherwise it wont work at all. I cant edit a post after it Is published PLEASE PLEASE someone help I am desperate :( :(

You site now is WordPress.com, but I see you used to use that domain with a Jetpack-connected site. When you viewed the My Sites page, did it show a red triangle next to the blog name? If so, it means you were trying to access the old Jetpack site that no longer exists.I have removed the old Jetpack connection, so that site should no longer appear in your My Sites list.

I see you have started several more threads besides the one @timethief linked here. Please note that posting multiple threads on the same subject will not make you get help faster, and in fact only wastes the time of both Volunteers and staff who have to answer questions that have already been answered.I am closing all the other threads you created. I ‘think’ that seems to have resolved the problem. I don’t know why that happened as I paid a happiness engineer to change me to .org, back in 2014, but I didn’t like it, so he brought me back to .com
Hopefully this is now resolved! Yay I am very happy if so.

Actually no, trying to write a post. It is saving the post every few seconds. Making writing a sentence difficult a post, impossible. Every few seconds, it hangs, a circle goes round while it ‘saves’
What can be done to fix this? I need to be able to write more than one or two words at a time, before it hangs to save.

What you’re describing is the autosave feature. It’s not a bug and cannot be disabled, but it should also happen without you even noticing it. You should definitely not be unable to type while it’s autosaving in the background. It should also only autosave when you stop typing for two seconds or longer.
This sounds like it might be a connection problem.
What type of internet connection do you use? Can you please try resetting your modem/router by disconnecting it from the power source for a few seconds? Can you also try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and disable any browser add-ons you have installed and see if that makes any difference.

I am confused at this as it is ok on other blogs that i write with same internet. Broadband. I type fast or normally i do.
Am finding when i click on stats to go to admin to write a post it doesnt go to normal admin panel. I can get to the other one. If i type in web address and /admin when i go to this one its fine.
Thank you for your help. It is better as how it was before was unusable.

If you look at the forum sidebar to the right (or at the bottom if you’re on a mobile phone) you should see an unsubscribe link. If you click on that you shouldn’t get further email notifications of this thread.Am finding when i click on stats to go to admin to write a post it doesnt go to normal admin panel. I don’t entirely understand what you’re saying here. What do you mean by “normal admin panel”? Is this the editor at My Sites that’s giving the problems? Did clearing your browser cache make any difference?

Ok, this is the problem. And it is a BIG problem (you might note I barely write on my blog anymore) writing posts is impossible.
In 2013, or was it 2014? I paid for a happiness engineer to transfer me to wordpress.org. I didn’t like it, and he transferred me back within a day.
Since this time, I have had nothing but problems. First of all, so many of my comments disappeared!! As my site is a support forum, those comments were important to my site.
On my blog I have TWO admin panels. One that looks like wordpress.org and the other one.
Since writing on this forum, I cannot access the one for wordpress.org which is a pain, as it means that I cannot write a post at all.
If I try to write a post, although I speed type without a break – all I get is constant saving of post, it cant keep up with my speed of typing, and I cannot type.
PLEASE someone help me. My blog has thousands of visitors a day (1.8 million hits in 2015 – despite I barely wrote a post) I can answer comments this is fine. I cant write posts.
I am sure that wordpress must benefit from advertising on my site (as I don’t anymore, you seem to have creamed profits from that, where I was once getting £200 – £300 a month – I am now getting if I am lucky £80 a month, so somebody is benefiting from advertising on my site, as it doesn’t appear to be me.
There is little point having a blog, if I cannot write a post. I would suggest that whoever transferred over, didn’t transfer it back properly hence me losing so many of my comments.
Its now MUCH worse, as I cant access the other admin panel (which looks like .org admin panel, as at least that DID work, and I could write posts) all I have is this piece, where It is IMPOSSIBLE to write a post, as it constantly saves, despite that I touch type and type fast. This is so frustrating.
Please help.

I understand that this is frustrating, but in order to help you we need to conclusively rule out the most common causes first.
I can access your WP-Admin dashboard just fine, so there is no problem with either that page or your account. I also tried writing a post using the new editor on your site, and it worked fine for me, saving in the background without me even noticing. And I’m on an excruciatingly slow 3G connection, not broadband like you have.
This tells me the problem is restricted to your browser, as if it was with your site or your account I would experience the same problem.
Did you clear your browser cache and cookies and did you check if it happens if you use a different browser as I asked you to a week ago? You answered me regarding your connection, but you never answered my questions about your browser.

By the one that “looks like wordpress.org” I assume you mean the WP-Admin dashboard? You can reach that via this link:

And again, I will need you to try clearing your browser cache, and also to try loading it in a different browser. There is no way for us to try and fix the problem if you don’t try that and report the results back to me.

Your guided transfer took place in July 2013, two and a half years ago. If something went wrong with that, there is no way to fix it now as we no longer have the export files that were used to move your site.

Yes, do you know how bad this is? I have to come to this page, to get the link, to click on it as ‘maybe’ I can write a post from it. Without it constantly saving. I am not happy. Have just paid nearly fourty dollars for the dot.com address. WordAds is so poor was paid nothing this month. Yet I know I still have traffic. I am unable to rebuild my blog, surely the point of the blog is for me to be able to write blog posts?
No. It isn’t my connection. I can write this here – fine. I can write other posts on other wordpress blogs. Fine.

I don’t want to have to come here, to click on the above link to write a post?!! that is ridiculous. I want to be able to click on it from my own blog and write. I don’t want to click on it, and the format is so unusable as it is saving every few seconds making it impossible to write. I just want it to do, what I have just paid another year for – to be a blog – that not only makes YOU money – but a blog where I can write posts… sorry am just frustrated.
