Where can i got my API key

  Hi

  I have installed wordpress on my local machine after that i am i gives the blog name and email id after that i started my procedure to do work i upload a new plugin on my machine after we have to give the Api key for that i am going to the profile
  .php for seeing my API key but i am not getting the API key my installed application.
  i am attaching the started field of my profile.php.
  please revert back to me ASAP where can i got the APi key for my installed wordprees application.

  Hey, I just happened to notice my API key just now when I was on my profile page.

  Go to My Account, then edit profile and it should be listed at the top of the page.

  hi , I know it about that we can se it on the profile page. But it’s in that case when you signup by worpress.com but i download the kit and installed on my local machine and that’s why i am not able to get.
  I just tried with other condition also with signup i am getting the api key but in case of downloading the kit i am not getting the API key on the profile page that’s why i attached the profile page with my post.i am attaching it again

  look over it we got the api key after your profile and personal options but i am not getting that key.

  Shilpa, you are obviously self-hosted and need to be in the wordpress.org forum. This forum is for wordpress.com blogs.
