Where can I host .rar files?

I just upgraded my wordpress account but foolishly didn’t check whether I could host .rar’s, just assumed I’d be able to.. oh well, I can still upload my mp3’s anyway.. but does anyone know a good free host for uploading .rar’s? I’m looking for unlimited bandwidth and a file capacity of about 200mb

I wonder if the Google Sites mentioned by someone as a host for mp3 uploads would work for rar or zip files.

There are specific rar only hosts out there as well, but it is nice to have a host for all filetypes if possible in case you decide to host some of them. It would be a pain to find a second host… ;)

You might also want to try writing http://www.box.net (their widget is supported on wordpress.com) to see if you can upload rar and zip with their free account. I couldn’t find a thing on their site about compressed files. With the free account, you can’t directly link to your files, but the box.net widget is easy enough to use. NAYY

For all things good, don’t use rar. It’s a pain in the butt on Windows (it’s not supported natively) and a bigger pain on Linux. I don’t know about Macs. What’s wrong with plain old zip?
