Where can I see VISITORS not Visits – PER POST?
-
Hi there,
I am trying to track how many visitors each post receives for a period of time. I went through all the available stats and was not able to find this info.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do be aware that there was no ability to track unique visitors until December 2012. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/12/17/unique-visitors/

WordPress.COM only has visitors recently (per above) – I am not aware of any visitors per Post stats that are built in – Don’t think Stat Counter will do visitors per Post either – over a few days the visitor vs/ views should balance out for any individual Post – probably depends a bit on the type of site you have – i.e. where a single person views many Posts they might go back to an index page or the same base page –
@TT has a very high traffic site and does solid SEO & other things to make traffic for the whole site go up and I don’t think she worries much about an individual Post –
I think you will need to go to a third party stats provider but no idea which one would work for you

Do you mind telling us why this isn’t good news?

I wanted to launch a friendly competition among all contributors of our blog. The ones to get more visitors (not views) to their posts would win a prize.
Just a little incentive to get folks promoting their blog posts – and hopefully we’d get more new visitors that way.
Not a real big deal. :-(
Thanks again for all your help. -
