    What happened. Where is all of my history?

    Hi there!

    The domain theplumbersbride.com is not registered here at WordPress.com, but it looks like you set that domain’s nameservers to point here.

    Without a paid plan, you would not be able to point that domain to your WordPress.com site and instead you’ll see the message currently showing:

    Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.

    If this is your domain name and it has recently stopped working, it’s possible that your plan or domain may have expired. Please log in to your WordPress.com account and review the status of your plan and domain.

    Once you set up a plan and indicate you want to use a domain you already own, your site will show up at that domain.

    Ok. However it had been up and running this way from 2012 to 2019. Why was I not notified? Did WordPress convert it from the live site to .WordPress.com?

    Is all my history lost now?

    I have been paying for premium since 2012. Something doesn’t make sense here.

    Your Premium plan expired 04-Apr-2022 when the stored payment on file with your account declined our attempts to renew your plan. You would have been notified via email to the email address on file with your account when each failure occurred.

    The subject line would have been The charge failed on your Mastercard 0788 and these emails were sent:

    – Feb 26 and 28
    – Mar 2, 4, 8, 18, and 28

    When the payment details were not updated, the plan was cancelled due to non-payment.

    In April, we made some changes to our plans and pricing which removed the Premium plan and added the Starter and Pro plans. While Premium is no longer available, either of the new plans will allow you to use your domain for your site.

    I forgot to mention that your content is still located at https://theplumbersbride.wordpress.com/ – the custom domain won’t work unless you purchase a paid plan.
