Where did my draft go?

I spent over an hour today working on a post on my ipad with the wordpress app. I saved the draft when I was finished with it, and when I got home all the progress was gone. I’m hoping that it may be recoverable, but I’m not exactly counting on it. Is there any chance it could be floating around somewhere? Or am I going to have to redo it?

Is the draft still on your iPad?
Can you try connecting to a Wi-Fi network, then on the Settings screen, change the status of the post to “Draft” then tap “Update”?
If it was already uploaded, the post should appear in the Drafts section of Posts -> All Posts in your blog dashboard.

It was no where to be found. I just had to rewrite.
I think I may know what might have happened. I clicked to update when I had no Internet connection, thinking it would just save it locally. Then when I got home, there was nothing saved after the last time I updated while connected.
Does that sound plausible?

Yes, unfortunately that does sound plausible. You’ll need to specifically choose to save a local draft, otherwise it will continue to attempt to upload the draft until you close the app.
