Where did my post go?
-
I have two sites. The first is mother-earth-massage.com the second is midnightravingsofamadwoman.com. they have different email addresses and passwords and yet they seem to be connected. When I log into one it logs me into the other. I tieid to write a post on Mother earth and it posted to midnight. I logged out of midnight and rewrote the post after re logging into mother earth and when I tried to preview the post it saved it but now I can’t find it anywhere and when I check to see if it went to Midnightravings I was logged in again. My phone is 319-239-8160 HELP!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
While we don’t offer over the phone support, I’d be happy to assist you here.
It looks like the email addresses and usernames for the accounts are quite similar.
As that is the case, I’d be extra careful when logging in.As a tip, you can always visit http://wordpress.com/my-blogs to make sure you’re logged into the account you want to be logged into. There, you’ll see the name of the blog that you will be editing if you make a new post.
Just to be sure, I verified that each site only has one user, so there isn’t a way to make a post on the mother-earth-massage.com site when you are logged in as the user who owns the midnightravingsofamadwoman.com site.
The same applies for if you were logged in to the account that owns midnightravingsofamadwoman.com, in that you wouldn’t be able to make a post on the mother-earth-massage.com site.
Regarding the missing post, could you let me know what it was called, or maybe what it was about? That way I can take a look to see if there is a saved copy.
If you have any questions, just let me know how I can help.

Perhaps I am missing something. But I just logged into the mother-earth site and opened the midnight ravings site and was already logged in. I know I logged out of both sites yesterday. When I started the second site I was not allowed to use the same email address as the first account so different emails, different passwords. you talk about logging in as “the user who owns” the midnight site. is that a different log in than the one on the page itself?

Regarding the login issue, if you are using the same browser to log into both accounts, I would recommend that you log out first.
Then, go ahead and clear your browser’s cache and cookies by following the steps here:
From there, you can try logging in again.
When I started the second site I was not allowed to use the same email address as the first account so different emails, different passwords.
Yep, that’s exactly right. Two user accounts on WordPress.com cannot share the same email address.
However, if you would prefer to be able to use only one login to access both accounts, I can put the two sites into one account for you. If you don’t want this, you can certainly keep them separate as they are now.
you talk about logging in as “the user who owns” the midnight site. is that a different log in than the one on the page itself?
When I say “the user who owns” a site, I’m referring to the unique username/email/password combination that was used to create a site.
As you have two WordPress.com accounts, you have two different usernames, two different email addresses, and two different passwords.
Title of missing post was” repetitive winter stress” I think.
I was able to find this post. Apparently it was put into the post trash, but I restored it for you.
You’ll need to log into your midnightravingsofamadwoman.com site’s dashboard to see it in the Posts > All Posts section.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
