Where did my site go?
-
Where is my website? I had it set up in autopay/auto renewal. Why can I not add another post? Why does it say I have no sites?
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account
-
We have no history of sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.
What is the URL of the site you’re trying to access?
-
http://www.heavenlyplacespublishing.com I originally started the website at GoDaddy because I had no idea what I was doing, but then I transferred it over to WordPress.

I just looked up my billing receipts and saw that I had one from December of 2020. I couldn’t find one for December of 2021. That’s when I saw that the receipt said it expired on January 15, 2022. Why was I not sent a renewal request? I thought it was automatically going to renew every year and charge my Discover account.
Is it possible to get it reinstated?
-
Your site did renew automatically; it was just created under a different account than the one o you’re using to post here now. That’s why you’re not able to access it.
Since you’ve found a transaction ID, check out this page and fill out the Account Recovery form to regain access to the account:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/.
Do not post any of this information in your reply here, as these are public forums.

Okay, I think this explains what the problem is. However, I don’t know if there is another step I need to take to fix something. I had an alternate email address that I used to log in to my account. However, I thought that I had changed that to my current email address since I decided not to keep the Outlook account. (I didn’t see the reason to keep paying for it). Now I am worried that I need to recover that email account.
Is this fixable? Next steps anyone? Sorry I have absolutely NO tech savvy….
-
The account email for the site in question is not an Outlook email account.
In order to fix this, you need to go through the account recovery process here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXOnce WordPress.com Support verifies you own the site, they can also assist you with your email question.
I hope that clarifies things! Let us know if anything is unclear.

I did the form and it threw up a message that I just needed to reset my password. I had already done that. I was able to log in and make a post. I’m trying to use the email provided by WordPress but the Titan thing said I had to do something with a DNS (?) and an MX? I don’t know. I’m supposed to have a zoom meeting on Monday to help me figure it out.
-
Hm, it appears to be set correctly.
If it’s still not working, please contact Titan’s support directly, as they are the provider for this particular email functionality and have the tools and access to assist with this: https://support.titan.email/
