Where did my stats go?
-
I had to momentarily deactivate my plugins to do an upgrade on the advice of Bluhost and now 6 months of stats are gone! How can I get these back? I also fixed a broken feed but that shouldn’t have made me lose anything because the problem feed left off at 6 months ago when I changed hosting carriers. The stats have been great since July, now they are decimated.

Are you using Jetpack or the WordPress.com Stats plugin?
If you’re using Jetpack, were you using WordPress.com Stats before?
-
I was using Jetpack all I did was deactivate for maybe 10 minutes and reactivate it. I had Jetpack since I changed hosting services in July. I lost stats prior to that but I just figured it was due to the hosting change.

Nope. All I did was deactivate all my plugins for 10 minutes and burned a new feed at feedburner.
-
When you re-activated Jetpack, did you connect it to the same WordPress.com account that it was connected to before?
-
Well I only have one wordpress.com account which has nothing on it but my ability to log in for I’m not sure what, but my blog is on WordPress.org. As far as I know nothing changed there. The odd thing is I picked up stats that I had previously lost when I changed hosts, but the ones from the last 6 months are missing. I’m sure it is something small but not being a tech. I don’t know.

Thanks for clearing that up.
We’re looking into this and we’ll let you know if we find anything.
