Where did my tags go? 'Explore' can't find them.
-
After publishing my latest post with plenty of tags, I waited around two hours and then logged out of my account and back in again with my boyfriends account to search any of the tags I gave my post. In an attempt to see how easily people could find my post. I tried several of my tags and ‘Explore’ was simply not coming up with my post. Why is this? Did I do something wrong when publishing it? I don’t seem to be gaining much traffic and think I might have screwed up somewhere.
Can anybody please help me? Thank you

If you use more than 15 tags and/or categories on a post you will be classified as a tag spammer and left off the tag pages, and downgraded in search engine rankings. Edit your posts so you have that number or less.

God, there I was thinking I was being very efficient! Didn’t know about the whole tag “spammer” thing. So you’re saying that if I was to remove a load of tags, I should come up on the ‘Explore’ page?
Thanks for your help! -
You will turn up in the tag pages, but it’s not instant. You basically go back to being evaluated as a brand new blog, and it takes some time to get listed. A week of posts that fit the criteria should do it.
