where did my wordpress blog go?
-
ok, so i totally neglect my blog for 6 months and it pays me back by disappearing of the face of the map. carpendium.wordpress.com is currently on the back of milkboxes and i need to find it again – who can tell me why when i go to my blog’s address, i now get redirected to the main wordpress site? is there some auto expire deal i missed in the fine print if you don’t do anything on your wordpress blog for a while?

Go to http://carpendium.wordpress.com/wp-admin and sign in. It is set to “private.” This is what I see when I try to go there:
“This blog is protected, to view it you must log in.”

hmmn, where are the privacy settings once i log in to wp-admin? i still can’t see the dashboard area where i used to be able to add a post, change privacy settings in my profile, let alone be able to see my blog again. it’s like any detailed info has been wiped from wordpress.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then log in.
Go to options > privacy and change the setting once you are logged in.
