Where did the "Edit" button/feature go?
-
I don’t know if things changed over night, or if WordPress is in the middle of revamping, but the “Edit” button on the bottom of posts is missing.
Also, I can’t figure out how to access an old post “to edit it.” I can only “read” the post.
I need to make changes!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I can still see the Edit link on your posts:
That link is only visible to a logged-in user on the site with the necessary permissions to edit the post in question. As you’re the admin on that site, you should be seeing that on all posts and pages.
Are you seeing the black WordPress.com admin bar at the top of the page if you view your site?
If that’s missing as well, it confirms the site doesn’t recognise you as logged in.
Please make sure your browser allows third-party cookies. Then clear your browser cookies, or at least all WordPress.com cookies, and log back in.
If you’re using any privacy/anti-tracking browser add-ons, also disable those to see if that helps.
Let me know the results.

Thank you for getting back to me. Your screenshot shows what I was used to. I opened my blog in Safari, logged in, and I now see what I am used to seeing. The edit button is available, and the admin bar is on the top.
I’ll have to check my settings for Chrome. That’s what I usually use, and the platform that was hiding “edit.”
Thanks again.

It’s probably an issue with cookies permissions :)
In any case, even if you do not see the edit button on the site, you will always be able to edit the posts directly from WordPress.com>My Site>Site>Posts.
