Where did the “feedback link go?”

    Hi,
    I’m trying to get some support but can’t find the feedback link, which is suppose to be in “the upper right corner”. How do I contact support?

    (Incidentally, I need help with a problem with neo-sapien theme – the 2 sidebars on the right have slipped to the bottom of my displayed posts out of the blue. I’ve tried restoring the widgets to default, and checking out a text only post, and I still get the same outcome. Is there some changes being done to it?

    I also wanted to know what’s the status on [Wordpress #FRK-582078] which I logged in January, about messed up category lists in add blogroll>manage blog roll>add link, write>post and manage >post>edit. Its driving me nuts.

    It turned into the Support tag, and is only visible when support workers are on duty. I wouldn’t expect to see it again till Monday.

    We don’t know the status of individual tickets, so we can’t answer that one. If you could reintroduce us to the issue a little more specifically and step by step, perhaps we can help.

    Ah, ok. Will wait for Monday then. Thanks. I will also buzz Support about needing to update the “Need help?” box at the bottom left of the admin pages.

    I am a relatively new WordPress (ex-Bogger) user who wanted to leave feedback on the new (beta) blog surfer features and could not find the feedback link, either! Guess I’ll wait until “normal” support hours. Seems silly to restrict feedback to certain hours…

    Only if you actually want feedback ;) The site has been going for a couple of years now and feedback is really more of a beta feature. It’s a pain, because if I spot a bug and can’t report it immediately I tend to forget to do it.

    However, you have to bear in mind that currently wordpress.com only has one staff member handling support full-time. There’s no point accepting support requests 24/7 if you haven’t got the resources to deal with them; it’s better to stop feedbacks coming in than to ignore them. But they have advertised for additional support staff, so hopefully in the future they’ll be able to provide a fuller service.

    On weekdays 9-5 PM you can use the “support” button on the top right hand corner of any blog page on your dashboard or this link to communicate with staff http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
    Alternatively if you have a blog surfer idea you can post it to the ideas forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum.php?id=1
