Where did the Tools menu go?

    Hi. In the new wordpress.com UI the Tools menu is missing. How do i import?

    Use the access to the old dashboard
    Go to yoursitename.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    (Using your own site name of course)

    That will get you to a menu with Tools as one of the choices

    The new folks do not know there are two editors and two user interfaces. Staff have removed links to the classic interface and classic editor and old stats pages.

    From what I observed the new bloggers haven’t a clue as to how to use the link structure to navigate to where they want to go. I think that’s because they don’t really look at the URL structure and comprehend how logical it is to use.

    The way I have coped with this is to feed them the links they need. If I don’t do that, the anxiety level rises as the threads grow longer, and there will be those who want to be helpful who interject into the thread and cause havoc.

    Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog URL you can go to Dashboard > Tools > Import
