Where do I blog? on my personal web site? or on word press.com?

  I created a separate domain for my blog and have been posting directly to that. I wanted to add the custom upgrade when I discovered I have a blog on the wordpress.com site as well. None fo my blogging appears on m y wordc press site. I see now that they are separate.

  I changed my server names and mapped the domain but am now lost as to where I should be posting and making changes. I assume I should do everything through wordpress and when i plug in http://www.debrinasnotions.com it shoudl show up? HELP!

  http://debrinasnotions.com/ points to http://debrinasnotions.wordpress.com/, i.e. it’s the same blog. If you’re still seeing your old site when you open http://debrinasnotions.com/ (as you’ve mapped that domain very recently), it might be due to the fact that it can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
